Teresa Bertossi is a co-editor of Headwaters. Teresa lives in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and teaches as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Northern Michigan University’s Geography Department. Teresa has a B.S. in environmental conservation from Northern Michigan University and an M.A. from Western Michigan University in natural resources analysis and environmental management. Inspired by her own family’s roots in poverty and mining, she continues to work toward healthier rural and resource dependent communities. |

Gabriel Caplett is a co-editor of Headwaters. Gabriel has a B.A. in Creative Writing from Kalamazoo College. Born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Gabriel also operates a small farm, selling vegetables to area farmers’ markets and grocers. Gabriel enjoys hiking the U.P.’s many wild places and swimming in Lake Superior. |
